The vantage point can be easily reached by foot from Jim’s Bar, a restaurant on the main road to Aow Muang.

This unmapped viewpoint is located between two giant boulders, and is accessible by foot. To reach this location, follow the dirt road to the left and take a left. It will take about a half hour to walk up a steep hill. You will be greeted with an unobstructed view of Koh Tao, and the rocky cliffs that rise above the ocean provide a beautiful backdrop.

The Sunset viewpoint is the most popular of all Koh Tao’s viewpoints, and it overlooks Sairee Beach and has the most amazing views of the island. Afterward, drink a coconut and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. This point is accessible via the dirt road leading to John Suwan Viewpoint. Be sure to visit the site early in the day, though, to avoid the crowds.
